Any cool ideas to spice up the site? I know I post something like this once every few months, but I try to improve it constantly...except that I haven't improved it at all recently. I'd like to do a general cleanup/improvement...like fixing that damned roster maybe Razz

The Roster is the only thing on my mind Razz Razz but do you wanna try out a completely new theme for the colors and everything? That would definitely spice up the site!

I like the theme and colors. Maybe we could leave the site, and try to focus on getting a scrim or something organized. Yes? No? Ok...

Sleekening, sleeking... Angrish is hard.
Also, maybe change the games we support? Because I don't think anyone plays Ps2 or SWRC.
Maybe get some other FPS/clan games we could try (Fistful of Frags is a game that might be worth trying).
We've talked about this lots, but nothing ever comes of it.

Double Post: something else I've added in the Site Navigation widget is a link to a list of all SWBF2 servers online, and more importantly, how many players (including player names) are on the server. It's a lot easier than opening SWBF2 to look Razz

So this is our third site up grade, meaning once we finish this upgrade, we'll be on version 1.3. What does everyone think about Version 1.3?

Also, for version 1.4, I will re-engineer the site and try to get it as sleek, fast, and efficient as possible. Most of the layout will remain the same.  alien

If you  have any ideas for any MORE possible site upgrades, post them here! These upgrades are constant and continuous; there's never an "off" season.

Addition: Because the squads have been dissolved, I have also hidden the Squad forums; however, they are NOT deleted. If you for any reason need to access information contained in one of the squad forums, let me or DW know, and we'll dig it up for you.

I think I've found a way to add a sound to the default Forumotion chatbox...need to play around with it though Razz

Edit: Yeah, I got it working...still needs to be improved a bit. I will include it as part of the Version 1.4 release  Smile

I've gotten the chat sound to work, I'm testing an "Invite Friends (online) to the chatbox" feature.

Chatbox sound or the Invite function?
IDK if I can get the chatbox invite to work, it's pretty hard. As of right now, the "Invite Friends to Chat" button doesn't do anything (other than open a list of people online).

Both would be nice, especially the invite function so that if you see someone online, but they arent on the xat or chat box, you can just invite them

I'm also thinking of adding glowy-text for links (when hovered over)...still working out the bugs of everything. Just a heads-up, there's a good chance the site will be in total disarray when you get here, that's not permanent. Razz.

So in regard to this; I've been doing a tonne of unrelated coding recently, I've vastly improved my JavaScript knowledge, and now I'll try to tackle the long-awaited, long-procrastinated "invite to chatbox" button...May be a while though :p.
